Little Red Library

“LITTLE RED LIBRARY”…  have you seen it yet…at LINC??  It has been there for a few months but you may not have known that it is there for YOU!   Look for it near LINC’s front door (it was recently relocated from the back door; see picture below).  It still is waiting for finishing touches, but we want you to know the books are there now.  So, when you visit LINC,  take a book…or several; after reading return them for others to read.  Also  any books you may wish to donate in the Little Red Library for others to enjoy.    Continue reading “Little Red Library”

National Night Out a Winner

Again this year LINC was privileged to host National Night Out at the LINC Community Center We had a great turnout with friends, neighbors, members from several churches and our Wentzville officials from the Fire department, Ambulance district, and  Police Officers as well as Alderman Michael Rhoades, and Mayor Nick Guccione.  And everyone loved the amazing helicopter flyby,  complete with sirens blasting.  What tremendous support from the City of Wentzville and the community!

There was plenty of food to be enjoyed by all, including grilled BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers.   The kids  seemed to especially enjoy the cotton candy and popcorn and cold drinks after all their play in the jumping house, face painting and other fun activities.  (See the smiling faces in the pictures below.) LINC held drawings for many wonderful  prizes that had been donated for the special event.  Smiling faces everywhere when the lucky numbers were drawn, and the winners stepped forward to receive their prizes.  Thanks for all of the prize donations made by our generous churches and people in our community.   Thanks to each person and the many organizations who supported this event and helped to make it successful.  LINC could not have done this without all of you!
